CINQUE ss

Cinque ss is a row of 5 solid cylinders and the empty spaces in between. Every piece is cut, assembled and tightly fit to create the tension between the ribbons of metal. One layer at the time, each section informed by the shape of what came before, inspired by the rings of an aging tree. Metaphorically they represent time and the impact on the environment we inhabit.

The earrings are made or sterling silver and oxidized to enhance the empty spaces.
